I know its been quite a while since we’ve done a recap on the upcoming Naruto games in the gaming world, but there are four upcoming games all on four different platforms, all being released in time for the holiday season!  We’ll start from my favorite to my least favorite.

Naruto: The Broken Bond (Xbox 360)
Release date: November 18, 2008

Sequel to last year’s “Rise of a Ninja” this game continues where the last game left off.  The trailer here shows off fights from the final canon arc of Part I, and it looks awesome.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm (Playstation 3)
Release date: November 4, 2008

The fourth game in the Ultimate Ninja series, and the first next gen Naruto fighting game.  The screens i’ve seen in the past couple of months look promising, and the trailer makes it look even better.  A shame I don’t have a PS3 (and I still don’t plan on getting one until I find at least 5+ games I want).


Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 (Wii)
Release date: October 21, 2008

Sequel to last year’s Clash of Ninja game. were treated to yet ANOTHER game using the same gamecube engine that was used in the first game back in 2002. This game will contain new characters, stages, and according to the trailer under this, a lousy filler character just for the game. Exciting.

Naruto Path of the Ninja 2 (DS)
Release date: October 14, 2008

You know, I just noticed that all of these games are sequels… should of figured!  This is the sequel to last year’s RPG DS exclusive (was a GBA game) game, and yet again it still looks like a gba game.  It least it wasn’t ported from the GBA this game… looks alright.  =/
