So, here we are.* The fantastic hour long special of filler that not only has nothing to do with the current arc, but also has nothing to do with Naruto Shippuden in general.* Remember the original Naruto series?* WELL, YOU WILL NOW.* Loud Naruto, Emo Sasuke, and Whiny Sakura are all here to bring back memories that you probably tried to forget.* The filler has something to do with the fourth hokage's "legacy".* Maybe if Naruto would actually try finding a picture of him so he could figure out that he's really his father.* Anyway, the rest of the Pain Invasion arc will resume next week.* Until then, canon fans have nothing to see here.

Imo, the pre shipuuden naruto was alot beter than the current, like the fights for example...

stop it, Sasuke was so cool in Naruto! And the fight were ingenious! Remember how Naruto defeated Kiba (HAHA) or the Shikamaru vs Temari...

ok, i give you the Deidara vs Sasuke fight... it was awesome as well.

I have yet to watch it but I'm glad the old Naruto BGM is back... at least they got something right after making 900 billion and a half filler episodes. As for fights, I'd say Shippuden is still the best. Sure, Naruto had it's moments (Kakashi vs. Zabuza, Gaara vs. Lee, Naruto vs. Neji, just about every fight from the Sound Four battles, and of course Naruto vs. Sasuke) but Shippuden has a way more mature tone in it's battles due to the older characters. I can't begin to list all the battles since I enjoyed so many of them.

Agreed. The old Naruto was good, there were some fantastic fight scenes but Shippuden is much better. The characters have changed in a good way and it's hard to make a mature anime with 12 year old characters; no one would look at it in a serious way. They would see kids fighting adults and change the channel (or alt+f4 amirite?)

Even though the characters are 16 (still too young imo) the plot is darker and more mature. It covers a larger audience. I kinda hope they do another time skip, after Madera has been defeated etc, that shows where they get to, finally.
