This week’s manga was eh… ok. Nothing honestly happened besides some generic leaf ninja getting beat up by Akatsuki, and that’s about it. Pretty lame… enjoy the chapter.

11.27Official: Shippuuden coming in January (USA)

According to the official American Naruto site, Naruto Shippuuden will be hitting the states sometime in January 2009. The site is currently showing the new logo and are streaming the first Shippuuden opening (it’s the same as the Japanese one, just with no Kanji when the logo appears). First of all, it seems that they are keeping the Japanese Naruto Shippuuden name, except that it is now spelled as “Shippuden” (no second u) for some odd reason.
This new logo sucks.
Besides that, the site claims that it will be streaming Naruto “Shippuden” in January, but I guess that it will probably air first on Cartoon Network sometime in January. ALSO, according to my previous post, this is odd because it seems unless CN is going to blast the filler out with a marathon, then it will still be on track to end in March and NOT in January. I guess we’ll see what happens in January. Stay tuned here for more information.

This week’s episode of Naruto Shippuuden has everything you love: NONSTOP ACTION NONSTOP MAYHEM ALL UNCUT AND UNEDITED FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE!! HELL YEEEEAHHHH!! Back to reality, this episode is actually really good. It also proves that Kakashi still has the moves, and Shikamaru does too! DAMN they rock. To bad Chouji and Ino just sit around and do nothing except attempts to attack… as usual.

11.18Naruto filler almost over… (USA)

I haven’t really checked out the Naruto fillers much on tv lately, last episode I watched was the one with that awesome bounty hunter guy who was badass. After that, everything just hit the crapper as usual. On Anime News Network, a possible date for the final filler episode has been revealed…
“What am I supposed to do with you?”
The last filler if all goes well will be on March 14, 2009. Which is about four months from now… I suppose if Shippuuden is all uncut then it will be worth waiting for. =)

Wow, now how the hell did I miss this? The mega media site Hulu, which hosts several tv shows that range from many popular networks are now showing (probably edited) episodes of Naruto online for free! Now what episodes are these? Well if you are a new narutard, this is the bad part. Hulu has Episode 33 to Episode 95. Meaning you have to of watched the previous 32 episodes to know what the hell is going on… oddly, enough according to the comments, they haven’t updated the page for a while so I’m supposing this is it for while. Would of been nice if they started streaming Shippuuden on there though…

Finally, some action again! As I promised last week, this is no holds barred non smoking contest between Team 10, Kakashi, and Akatsuki! You know who isn’t in the episode though? ASUMA! YAY! Btw, check out the preview below this to witness Sai being called “gay” for the first time, I thought he was gay from the start, but it’s about time somebody finally told him straight up about it.

The battle in Konoha continues! Danzou is up to his evil schemes again while Kakashi has to survive and figure out a way to tell Konoha about Pain’s ability, which can also cost him his life! (NOOOOOOOO!!!!) This chapter also brings death to a character that we’ve barely seen and that most of you don’t even care about. No tissues are required for this chapter.

Have you recovered from the election yet? I hope so, because the newest episode of Naruto Shippuuden has arrived! Since Asuma has finally hit the bucket and now that Shikamaru is draining his precious lighter of lighter fluid, we can finally get back into the action here! Sadly there isn’t much action in this episode… but don’t worry, next week will be ALL ACTION. O_O
