Oh lookie here, guys! It’s the very first box set of Naruto Shippuden and the first movie! After six awful box sets of anti canon filler, Naruto returns with it’s first canon season which is also known as Shippuden or to manga readers as Part II of Naruto. The box set of Shippuden will (likely) contain the first 13-ish or so episodes. The box claims that this is first season so I’m assuming it maybe the entire first arc of Shippuden. Remember, this box set is completely UNCUT and will not be have the edits that are currently on Disney XD. Unlike the first Naruto series, Viz Media are no longer (from my knowledge) releasing edited Shippuden episodes on DVD. Secondly, we have first Naruto Shippuden movie. If you all completely forgot about it, its basically about a priestess who is out to seal a evil soul or whatever. The movie isn’t that bad, but the ending is what really makes it different between other Naruto movies. Oh, and not to mention that the priestess wears a white tanktop… like any good priestess should. -_-;;

ANYWAY, with that aside, Naruto Shippuden Box Set 1 is going for a reasonable $29.99 price tag. It seems that Viz Media are still going to continue the tradition of overpriced “Special Edition” box sets as I am also seeing the same set going for $10 more. As of now, both product pages are exactly the same for both versions on Amazon. Naruto Shippuden Movie 1 is going for a not so reasonable $20. This movie isn’t worth that much, so we recommend you nabbing it at a local Wal-Mart for a much lower price if you can find it. If you got Revolution III on Wii, we got the DVD, but it ONLY had the dub track on it. Lame, amirite? Naruto Shippuden Movie 1 is now available, while the first box set is set to release on January 26, 2010.
